I like shy men for the idea that I have the challenge of making a bold man out of him.

It depends what people consider "Shy" and "Outgoing". If shy, as in, decent, and "outgoing" as in indecent, I definitely like Shy men more. If he talks a lot and says a lot of crap, I definitely don't like him. If he says a few things, and they're good, and he is considered shy, I much rather have that in a man.

depends how shy they are. it can be cute. I had to ask my husband out 3 times before he would agree, just because he was shy and nervous. for anyone else, that might have been a little too much work but I just really liked him. :)

I would probably not approach a shy man just because they kinda weird me out. To me they must lack in confidence and I really like a confident man.

Really depends on variation of 'shy.' If its just 'shy' as in extremelly well-mannered, then I love it. If its 'shy' as in not even looking at you while conversing, then I feel they are real pains to get to know, and would probably give up trying to get to know them...CP

My boyfriend gets in his shy spells sometimes. I really wish he would open up more when we're out in public but deep down, I think it's kinda cute.

You can be shy all you want, but when it comes to women, you know what they say...a faint heart never won a fair lady.

well hon, if he's not pretending then great. I would say to women don't push him but let your feelings be known one way or the other, and encourage him to talk about his feelings. i would not encourage the shy guy to date aggressive women or try to be who they are not because they want to fit in. i wish i could meet one myself. all the best.
