Because bisexual girls don't have to worry about not having a boyfriend. They can claim they don't like boys that much.

Well I am by no means an expert about this topic. I am mostly answering because I thought the question was interesting. Well take my opinion for what it's worth but I have noticed in general, more and more women are bisexual. It seems like a trend to be bi or something. Naturally, as a horny male, I get turned on at the thought of two women but at the same time it sucks for the single guys out there because they are now competing for women with other women. Anyways, with all of that going on, i'm sure 13 year old girls see all of that going on in the adult world and start to explore that. The age of 13 also happens to be the age when a person start to develop their sexuality. Girls are close to each other and they have sleep overs. All of that is completely innocent and no one would question it. At the same time, that sets the perfect arena for two girls to explore their curiosity. I don't think all girls who have lesbian experiences will neccessarily stay lesbian or bisexual. They may get into a heterosexual relationship and discover that they want to stick with men.

Because 13-year-old girls are insecure, just coming into their own identities, and being bisexual is "in".

I am 33 years old and bisexual, and while I FULLY support GLBT teens, I think some young girls are confused about their sexuality and declare their bisexual status as a way to shock or gain social status.

You're finding more 30 year old straight men who are pretending to be 13 year old bi-sexual girls.

People are coming into their sexuality earlier... You know girls start "crushing" bad at that age - now that it doesn't carry such a stigma people will tell the truth younger...
