Basically, my question was asking "What if someone isn't a good person as a Christian, but is the ideal Christian(minus the belief in Jesus) within another faith?" I couldn't think of a way to word it, and I had a bad typo in the title.

What that means is that some non Christians may actually be following Christs teachings regarding love and love of fellow man without even having learned of Christ. It is a lesson to those of us who are Christians and do not practice what we preach.

You need to reword the question. Christianity is Christian. Religions are the Catholic,Baptist,Penecostal, etc. Christianity is believing that Christ died on the cross to save us . Religion is how people decide to worship their beliefs.

you mean what if someone's a good person? (but is not a Christian...)

If this is what you meant than: Good works won't get you to heaven. And it would be impossible to be a Good Christian without including the whole 'JESUS' thing; considering "Christian" literally means "little Christ."

Christians call themselves "Christians" because they follow CHRIST. ( i thought that would be an obvious.)

anyway - i hope i answered your question.
God Bless.

I'm sorry, you have nothing in the way of knowledge or wisdom from GOD. You need to get in touch with the Word of God and ask Him to help you before you ask questions that truly have merit. Need help getting started, e-mail me.><>

Works are insufficient as far as God is concerned. Its in the bible. You can't use the word christian or Jesus and expect and get your desired result http://www.carm.org/doctrine/100truths.htm
