As we journey to the future, we are passing through this exploration phase. These types of moral depravities were so pent up and guarded in our past. Now it seems that all is out in the open. People are free to express all of their tendencies, and "moral short comings". But the world is evolving, and we are in a period of becoming better. Like a roller coaster that lumbers up to the peak, our world is almost there. Once it reaches the summit of realization, evolution of the world will speed up towards perfection, as the coaster travels down the other side.

It has been said that the first half of evolution is slow and cumbersome. But when an individual understands evolution, and begins to desire to be better, the last part towards perfection is very quick, because that individual begins to make the correct decisions more consistently as they become more enlightened.

The world is fraught no doubt, by moral depravity at this time. But have faith in the Law of Progress, the world will evolve, and the people will either evolve with it, or face being incarnated to a less evolved planet to match their evolutional level.

Have you seen the cr@p on TV nowadays?
Desperate Housewives - Adultery is approved. faithfulness is useless.
WWE and DX - find it interesting that Shawn Michaels is a professing Christian but now portrays someone who defies authority.
Even cartoons like Sabrina and Dora the Explorer promote witchcraft and sorcery. There is nothing safe from the airwaves anymore.

I will throw this in if you hadn't heard:

Before they changed, the National Educaton Agency were going to promote the homosexual lifestyle to children as young as five and six. This is in case the children are "prepared" if there are gay. The real reason is to program them to believe they are and ingrain this in their thinking.
Get the kids away from the TV. I buy programs for the kids to watch and make sure it isn't against God.

If you haven't seen the moral desensitizing of America in the last fifty years, you need to.

It is sickening.

Um in the middle ages, it was a common thing to see people hung and executed. It was a community party in many cases. Children were held up on thier parents shoulders so they could get a better look.
During one Germanic revolt, the Romans put on a show. That "show" consisted of babboons raping 6 year old girls.
The girls were then killed afterwards. This was entertainment.
Trust me, there is very little that kids see today that can rival the violence and bloodletting that they saw in the past.

I truly think so and that too is one reason my children are home schooled. We are responsible for the moral upbringing of our children. How can we expect a immoral society to instill moral values in children? That is the parents job.

Peace of Christ,

Absolutely. And I'm due to give birth in 5 months. Sometimes I lay awake at night and I'm scared out of my wits.

You can do something about it. Get rid of your TV. Spend time with your children reading and praying.
