so i just got a new dvd player, but the t.v picture goes from dark to bright and its so annoying. how can i fix this?

You will see that happen for usually one of two reasons. You may not have a TV with raw video and audio inputs, and therefore using a VCR as a video modulator. If so the VCR circuitry will be adversely affected by the copy protection. OR if you are connected directly to raw audio and video inputs on the TV and seeing this effect, you may be trying to view illegally copied video.

Sounds like the copy protection device on your dvd player is activated,
is it connected to a vcr? If not take to a repair shop, the device may have some sort of malfunction.

its probably because the cords arent fully plugged into the tv/dvd player... make sure you check all of the cord to make sure they are plugged in properly.. hope that helps

do you have a vcr attached to your tv also?, if so that is the reason
