The Talmud is commentary on the Pentateuch. (5 books of Moses).
They are human interpretation and the various authors often contradict each other. Scholars often study aprticular sages and do not follow "lesser" minds. For example the sage Rambam has great respect, and his interpretations are followed by many.
Also men's affairs change over the years and the Talmudic interpretations are given different emphasis,
I do not know of any Jew that believes that murder is justified but for very specific circumstances, situations. (e.g. to prevent the murder of self and family). In most cases murder and also lying is a sin and strictly forbidden, no matter what the faith of the recipient is.
Jews are also commanded to observe the law of the jurisdiciton that they dwell in.
These verses you are quoting are extremist and disreputable. What they suggest is sinful. Period.
Dan.

I really do not know, however; I would very much like to find out. The articles indicated therein are very serious and have very strong implications on the possible future of our society and why the conflict may exist the way that it does. Who knows? The war in the Middle East may just be necessary to maintain a balance between idealism and realism.

You are quoting words and saying from traditions of men, not the Word of GOD. Hence, it has value to people that practice this type of religion.
For precise answers to questions concerning God and His plan for our lives, go to His Word, the KJV 1611 Bible, and a Strong's Concordance. You're a winner all the way when you use the proper tools I always say.><>

ive seen in many hebrew books a introductory note that goes something like this
(roughly translated from hebrew - the book was a bible commentary (chasam sofer))

"the 'nonjew' refered to in this volume is in no way meant to refer to the gentiles with whom we live in their peaceful sociaty, the refence of nonjew published in herein refers to the idol worshipping uncivilized and unlawful people long deceased"

some have also added , and ive heard this in live lectures too, that on the contrary in is encumbent upon us (those who pray regularly) to pray for the peace and success of our nation and its citizens (jew or not)

dont believe everything ya watch on tv

We (the Western world) are the fools for continuing to support Israel. Most Jews, in their heart of hearts, look down on (I could almost say 'despise') the rest of us, but they will NEVER admit it openly.
Chosen people? God is not fool.

Like my dear old Granny said....
"Sooner or later, the truth always comes out."

It's about time we realized that the Jews lost their privilege as "God's chosen people" a long time ago, and move on.

Good question. I hadn't heard of this, but there's a lot I haven't heard of! Do the modern Israelis believe this? I hadn't heard of it, but I'm glad it's brought to my attention. This will need more studying...
