What is the problem with some people thinking that magic/slightof hand is evel,a lie, or sorcery??

Some people have to find "labels" or "terms" such as evil, lies, sin, sorcery in order to explain away what they do not understand or do not participate in. I believe it comes down to ignorance. Ignorance usually is fear of the unknown. And some people just can't allow for mystery/unexplainable in their lives. To them, there has to be an explanation for everything because this binds their fears and/or doubts; thus the labels, definitions, etc. Hope that helps.

That would be because Slight of hand in some peoples eyes coincides with trickery. SATAN is the king of trickery according to Christian teachings. He created trickery.. Trickery is fooling someone into believing something is true which coincides with LIES/Lying. Satan is the God of all Lies. SOOOOOO ! This is why some people think slight of hand is EVIL, a Lie, or Sorcery.

well, while some people may not liked being tricked in general, there is a difference between pulling a rabbit out of a hat and sacrificing that rabbit to eternally damn your immortal soul. The second goes against most religions while the first is simply fun.

Stage magic is a form of entertainment and I see nothing wrong with entertaining people. In fact, the world needs more laughter and good times.

If you are asking what is wrong with it, nothing. If you are asking why, it is forbidden in the Bible, because it was historically misused to trick people into thinking that someone had a power that could be used against them if they didn't give tribute to the conjurer. Similar to Mafia and extortion.

because magic and sorcery was wrong in the bible... and it looks like they are lying to the people..but a lot of people do magic and things now and do not think it is wrong.......

there are tweo kinds of majic.......... one is a trick/slight of hand...... which isn't evil.........but in case you didn't know it there is a majic that is evil because majicians somehow possess some supernatural powers that are demonic......... that type of majic is purely evil. They can actually have people walking through huge bonfires and never get burnt. Thats not natural.
