I had no idea that people that weren't even citizens yet are also minutemen.

I think the whole thing is a little goof-ball...I saw the video, wasn't really impressed. The basic concept is sound, but it sounds like their organization's a little shaky. It also sounds like there's a problem where they were, I don't think anyone attacked the mexicans/pro-mexicans when they held their march.

What's really lacking here, though, is city/state government ACTING to prevent/oppose/reduce the number of illegals
running around in our country.

We do have laws, they need to be enforced, the time to do it is sooner, rather than later. I think there's dis-unity on the issue,
due to the fact that there's laudable concern for the welfare of the people involved. Nonetheless, some way, somehow, the issue of having a HUGE amount of foreign citizens in our country with no lawful right to be there needs to get handled, and that's a hot potato it doesn't seem like anyone in Congress has a good handle on. That needs to change, and it'll change fastest if this whole immigration mess gets put to a majority vote, state by state, nationwide. What we've got now is a circus, and a lot of people trying to skew the issue to their liking. It's my belief that there've been ardently pro-hispanic groups active in our country for years, and they've finally helped bring about an untenable situation for our country, and quite possibly done it to such a degree that there's going to be an intolerance backlash, now.
I think this is what we get for playing host to people from mexico with a chip on their shoulder, an axe to grind, a grudge to settle,
but dare not because they know their home country would not tolerate their marches etc. Instead, they come to our country...

I, personally, don't want a country full of illegal immigrants.
I think that if you start off in our country by breaking the law,
it's not that hard to just continue in that vein. Then you end up with a citizenry that's law-abiding, for the most part, and you end up with a 'shadow class' that doesn't show on any census, doesn't have any record with our government, etc etc etc., in other words, it's bad news, both for the people that are lawful citizens and those newcomers that are actually trying to start out a better life. The end net result will be a confused legal situation,
a population 'boom' that might actually go BOOM at some point in the future, and dwindling public resources available to do anything for anybody. Net result: bad policies=chaos.
Cities, counties, and states are going to have to act on illegal immigration for themselves. The sooner they do, the better.

Yars--my security will not let me go to the videos there (yourtube)--so many times.
I wish I knew why.

What ever it is--I support the Minutemen so far-I haven't see them do any wrong. And I think they are the scariest group for the Illegals-because they are such a mix of people of all nationalities-races-and religions. If things happen I don't blame them.

This is the first time the news media didn't go gagga over the Mexicans; it sounds to me there were many other radicals represented here.

I like what gokart has to say.

Gokart said everything here that I would have wanted to say but would not have been able to find such eloquent words with which to say it. Thank you, Gokart!

The pro-illegals protested, we did not attack them. They attack our beloved Minute-Men, while they were marching. I'm afraid illegal immigration needs to be resolved soon, before the worst happens.
