Atheists do have a belief structure by the very nature of their disbelief. Freewill allows me the choice to worship and praise God. My choice to love and serve the Lord.
Good question though.

Just because people believe in God, dosent mean that they are DEPENDENT on His existence and praying etc. But as far as the atheist people go, they ALL deep down, KNOW that God does exist and THAT, (although they wont admit it), IS what keeps them going. God is in everyones hearts, even in theirs and they feel it yet deny it. Also, atheist people are not happy people and they believe that the fact that they cant find true happiness means that there is no God but if they give Him a chance, they wil realize that He IS where they can find happiness. He is where it all starts. So yes they are able to live without belief but it isnt comfortable living, atleast not as comfortable and as wonderful as it could be! God changes everything. Atheist people need emotional guidance....because it is common sense that God is real but they feel a need to deny His existence all of the time....its really really sad.
I pray for them ... :)

Why would you think anyone is dependant on the idea that God exists to live? Thats rediculous. I believe in God but if I decided tomorrow I didn't my life wouldnt end (unless I got hit by a truck or something) but you seem to have your ideas about believers all confused with fantasy.
Contrary to popular bored-teenage-wannabe-atheist opinion. Believers are not all glazed eyed zombies with no lives.

I'm able to live my life without belief because I have a mind of my own and humanity and morality play a major role in it. I have never read a verse in the bible and I have had a happy life so far. I may only be 15 but I know of a lot of other teenagers who cut themselves and are depressed because they are so unhappy and they tend to be from families who are very religious. Sometimes, I think god plays too much of a role in people' lives. It's a roadblock to their own mind. People died for gods they don't even know exists. To me that sounds crazy.

I guess I COULD live without faith and belief, but I have chosen TO believe. Your question is faulty. God will let believers and non-believers choose what they will, and live out their life here on Earth, so life here is not so much dependent on belief or disbelief, you see.
However, I must say that my life here is so much fuller due to the fact that I DO believe.
And to Yoda: Wow, you assume a lot! You assume that believers are of low intelligence? Try reading the book "The Case for Christ". It was written by a man who was a skeptic, a student of law at Yale, who decided to investigate the claim of Christ and His position as Son of God. His name is Lee Strobel. Did you go to Yale?

most christians dont need god as much as they think they do, and some need him more than they think they do. but god is something very deep, and very powerful (when someone can actually get past themselves to experience that), and just like you don't really need friends and family to live this life; it's perfectly plausable that you would be able to live life without having a single friend or family member; its perfectly plausible that somebody could go through life without god. its all a matter of relationship, and the impact of those relationships. for some christians, the impact of a relationship with god helps them to not snap, or give up, or hurt themselves. for others, it turns them to that...lol. and for non-christians, other things, like friends, and family help them to not snap. (again, sometimes they have the opposite affect too). the point is that everyone on this earth needs lots of things. not everyone will get all that they need. having a REAL(because, wow, there are some people out there claiming some wierd things) with God, is another thing(although its incredibly powerful) that can help sustain our needs as human beings.

Well one big difference is fact. We rely on facts and proof to be a standard of our lives. The Christians follow faith blindly. It's not about being dependent; the Christians don't know any better. If they believed the sky was orange (taken from another post used foolishly against me) they would believe it until death even if there was solid fact proving them wrong. That is the thing about faith, fools have faith and intelligent people accept fact.

A non beleiver ( atheists) can stay lives with the moral code coverted into government regulations. it is obviously due the two to an inherited ethical ethic perception based from formative years upbringing, ( college, mum and dad, television) and of direction in user-friendly terms because of the fact it is a criminal offense and a civil punishment can ensue. and of direction because of the fact the atheist have not any reason to stay for everyone different than thierself or thier friends and family it does no longer be benificial for them to circulate against the government standards. yet a man or woman without faith, has no actual well-known existence long exhilaration or targets, and not something yet concern in loss of life, because of the fact it seperates them from existence. To a Christain, loss of life is merley yet another door to stay with the aid of. A atheists will obey the regulation because why could they want to spend a ingredient of a constrained existence on being punished with the aid of a central authority, yet whilst there replace into no regulation with the aid of the government, they could have not any reason to no longer do something they needed. it continues to be the regulation in line with morality that controls them. So despite in the event that they don't have faith, they are nonetheless compelled to persist with christian ethical although criminal regulations.

dependence has nothing to do with it...once again, like a wise man once said, if you start with an erroneous assumption, you will end up drawing an erroneous conclusion...does it make any more sense than to ask "why is it that atheists worship themselves?" we don't believe in the existence of God out of a sense of dependence "on the idea of gods" any more than we believe in the existence of cumin out of a sense of dependence on the idea of spices...God simply IS...

whats the differance ,,do you win if we both are just dust ,,maybe the ideas i have give me a peaceful life and ,, if i didnt believe in god and a moral code the world would be filled with more evil,,, as i would do what came into my head without any guide ..so religion and a spiritual guide line is good for everyone ,,as it helps folks cope with the evil happening in the world ,,and their lives ,,,so convincing fools to not believe, makes less sense, you should sign folks up for churches, and religion classes ,,as it makes the world a better place ,for you to live also ,,
