The idea that the last judgment is something that happens to us after death is a misunderstanding of scripture.

Remember the story of Adam and eve in the garden when they ate from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This story is a metaphor that explains that our fall from the bliss of the garden was caused by our learning to practice judgment.

Knowledge of good and evil is simply a definition of judgment. Think about it.

The story is meant to tell us that so long as we continue to pass judgments on the people and things around us we are not thinking like God. Until we once again start to think like god we will never experience the bliss of the original state that we had before judgement snatched us from the garden.

The last judgment is simply this, at some point we will realize that our judgmental nature is what has separated us from God and lost us the bliss of the garden. At that moment we will make one final judgment. That final judgment will be the realization that it is our judgments that have always been the problem and that we will judge no more. The moment we actually eliminate judgment from our minds we will instantly be returned to the original bliss of oneness with God and find ourselves back in the garden.

Even though this is not the story that you have always been told something about it rings a note of truth in you heart. This is because your heart remembers the truth and longs for you mind to remember also. Its eternal hope is that at some point your mind will remember and stop the foolish judging so you can find your way back home. Jesus tried to tell us this but no one listens. Remember judge not lest ye be judged.

Love and blessings

From my understanding, the Christians who die will be judged for their works immediately, and how many "riches" they will have in heaven. This is not a judgment for where they are going (i.e., heaven vs. hell). Those who die and are not Christians will be judged by being sent to hell (hades, which will be cast into the Lake of Fire at the final judgment).

The final judgment, or White Throne, is when all those who are still on earth after the Millenial reign of Christ and His Bride, or Church (the Christians), and all those who are in the temporary "hell" will be judged and ultimately thrown into the Lake of Fire, which is different from hell. The Bible talks about different "levels" or intensities of the Lake of Fire, and I believe that the judgment will decide which level the unsaved go to.

The Christians will not be subject to this judgment (thank God).

Final Judgment is for the lost.

Christians are already Judged. Christians will be in the front of the Judgment Seat of Christ.

The final judgment is after the 1st Resurrection when all those who did not previously have a chance to make an informed decision, do so. If after learning the truth they then follow Satan in his led rebellion after he is loosed from his 1000 year confinement, they are then condemned in the final judgment.

We are NOT judged immediately. The final judgment won't come until after the final return of Christ Jesus. Study your Bible friend.

The final judgement is for all who rejected God. They are not judged at death.

we don't know exactly when we are gonna be judge, if now that we are alive or before of after we died. When Jesus comes back for the 2 time, he is gonna bring his reward with him, (according to the bible), that means that the result of where we are going, it will be decided (by us) before Jesus comes to the earth.

Remember...

Eternal life or eternal loss is totally up to us. God does not decide where I'll go when he comes back, that decision is totally up to me.

judgement is not until after the rapture and the 1000 years on earth "for those worthy to escape".

Now wait a second here.
Are you judged when you die or on judgement day?
And what about the rapture? Are you judged then?
How confusing, can't your magic sky-pixie keep it straight?
