G W Bush openly stated to the media that he prays to God, and that God told him to invade Iraq. When the Coalition of the Willing dump their weapons of mass destruction (cruise missiles, high altitude bombs etc) and kill innocent men, women and children, commonly referred to as unfortunate collateral damage as opposed to murder or homicide bombing, who is really responsible for this killing?

That's an easy question to answer. God is responsible because he appointed President Dubya.

CG Jung wrote a book called "Job's answer to God", which answers a related question.... He also wrote "The Problem of Evil" because this became something of an *issue* for him personally....

Anywho, Psychologically, you can't have Good w/o Evil, but early Xianity was essentially monotheistic, i.e., Jesus redeemed the duality.... for some reason, I don't quite fathom, Satan re-entered the picture and wreaked havoc on women and *heretics* during the Inquisition, which of course magically disappeared all on its own later...

HOWEVER, Job's dilemma in a nutshell was that he expected help from God to save him from God.

Unless of course, you think he was somehow responsible himself for his tribulations, but that would best be answered by New-Agers and that whole Chosing Your Incarnation thangy.

Was Hitler responsible? Were the Germans responsible? The Jews???? Or do you think it's possible that any other solution could be equally, if not more valid, such as the respression of the dual nature of man and the "Collective Unconscious"???? Or, reincarnation???? Or even a vast New World Order Conspiracy with roots going back to *Old Europe* to borrow a phrase?

A parting thought:

"We are conditioned not only by the past, but by the future, which is sketched out in us long beforehand and gradually evolves out of us. ("Analytical Psychology and Education," 1924)"

God is. If God told him to invade then God is responsible for the results. The problem I have is that if God is all-powerful, God would not need George Bush to invade Iraq. God could have just blinked and turned the whole place into pillars of salt or some such. SO I think the whole business about God telling him to invade was a bunch of hooey.

YOU'RE LYING. President Bush never said God told him to invade Iraq. And the weapons you mention aren't "weapons of mass destruction." (btw, exactly what is a "high altitude bomb?") Besides, have you forgotten the innocent men, women, and children who were slaughtered on 9/11/01? What would you have us do, sit back and wait timidly for the next attack? If you don't like Americans responding vigorously to murderous attacks, you should get the f*ck out of here, you traitorous b*tch. Go and live with your beloved Islamists.
Your "question" is just typical liberal empty-minded gushing. I bet you're a lesbian. Aren't you?

Yes President Bush has openly said he prays to God but he has not openly discussed his prayers with the public. His prayers are between himself and God. You need to quit using propaganda to insight and upset people. I could ask you the same question: Is Osama B. Lauden responsible for the killing of innocent men, women and children in Iraq, America, France, England and many other places, or is God responsible? God Made us in his image and gave us a brain to make decisions on our own, a soul to ask for his guidance but still the brain to make our own decision, and God gave us compassion in order to love our fellow man but also a brain and free will to make our own decisions. That is why God also provided us with a Heaven and a Hell on JUDGEMENT DAY!

The responsibility lies with the collective consciousness of humanity because we live lives of fear, hate and intolerance. The power of these energies are emitted into the universe. All of these negative vibrations result in the world we see around us. The terrorism, crime, war, murder, disease, pandemics, natural disasters, tsunamis, hurricanes etc. etc. WE are the cause.

When we start living lives of love, tolerance, acceptance as Jesus taught then we will reap the results of sowing these positive vibrations into the universe, both individually and collectively.

It's easy to lay the blame at someone else's feet, but a lot harder to accept responsibility.

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Gandhi

As Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces, he is ethically, and morally responsible for any, and all actions done by the US Armed Forces.

Under International Law, he is legally responsible for any and all violations of the Geneva Convention, and other treaties governing the conduct of war, committed by the US Armed Forces.

Dragging God into the picture simply shows his moral bankruptcy.

I think you have a serious problem if you believe that God told President Bush to invade Iraq. If he really is the christian he says he is, he wouldn't have invaded Iraq.
