The body tub of my 1985 Jeep CJ7 is completely rusted out and it is totally unsafe - but mechanically it's still in pretty good shape. I need to find a good Jeep body re-build shop (or a good body shop that has experience with Jeeps) in Essex, Passaic or Bergen county NJ that can either rebuild the body or find a replacement body and do the engine remount. Any recommendations?

log onto earlycj5.com. You will find members who run shops in that area. They will specialize in Jeep universals aka CJs.

Sure LQQK In The Yellow Pages or Dex-although you might try praying toGod since he seems to have all your answers

I could while away the hours, conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain.
And my head I'd be scratchin' while
my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.
I'd unravel every riddle for any individ'le,
In trouble or in pain.
With the thoughts you'll be thinkin'
you could be another Lincoln
If you only had a brain.
Oh, I could tell you why The ocean's near the shore.
I could think of things I never thunk before.
And then I'd sit, and think some more.
I would not be just a nothin' my head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain.
I would dance and be merry, life would be a ding-a-derry,
If I only had a brain

What you need is a fiberglass reproduction body. Trying to rebuild the rusted steel body will be alot more hassle, and alot more expensive, than it's worth. You can buy a complete 'glass body, or just a tub, for alot less than it would cost total to redo your steel, and then when you're done you don't ever have to worry about it rusting again. Just do a google search for fiberglass CJ bodies...you'll find a place that will ship one right to you.

Well yes I would have the head lights lifted and a few dents removed and a little weight removed maybe it was from eating all the bugs going through the radiator??? My carpet is fine, the seat is a little saggy better get that fixed too. WOW maybe I should just turn me in for a newer model????

Hey, I TRUST a guy in MD, he's Central American and looks kinda shady, but he's the BEST with body repais, really.
Send me a message if you want directions ...yea, I know.. it's far away from NJ.
