My b/f's father went to Catholic school, and they seriously thought he was one of the 4 hoursemen.

So, yes, he has been born. He's a truck driver for the New York Post.

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

The anti Christ is not a person.

It is a term that is meant to be descriptive of the way certain pseudo Christians pretend to be followers of Jesus. They are a minority, but they are so vocal they drown out the rest.

Jesus always stood for a loving, inclusive, nonjudgmental approach to his fellow man.

The bigot pseudo Christians see their brand of Christianity as an exclusive club from which they judge all others as being unworthy of any fate other than burning in hell.

Their actions are almost the exact opposite of what Jesus Christ taught.

Hence the name antichrist, or opposite of Christ.

I heard he was born around 1960. But people always think the Anti-Chirst is around. It was Ronald Reagan for awhile. It was a few Popes centuries ago. All I know is the Anti-Christ is supposed to be the last person you'd suspect.

i just finished a study on antichrist to get a better understanding. I always thought it was a single man sent to appear christ like but lead you to sin. well that isnt what I found. I could find nothing in the Bible that makes this clain although what I did find in the Bible explains antichrist as those who do not believe in God or christ but have studied christ and even were christains and now spend their time by using the Bible to lead people away from God.
sound like someone you know? A true Atheist is someone who does not believe in God and therefore do not waste their time whereas an antichrist are those who speak the Bible to convince christains that God is fake.

I believe so. The bible states when the time is right he will be released by the one restraining him. So this is my understanding . The Anti Christ will be a polictical figure or Leader but he will be pocessed by Satan. We dont know from where he will come or how old. I do believe in order to fool so many people he will be charming and attractive and very intelligent these will all be enchanced by Satan. He is the Father of all lies and evil. But yes i think he is in the world and waiting for he right time.

There are many antichrists (anyone who is against Jesus even athiests) - however one particular man, referred to as "The Assyrian" also "the son of perdition" and "One who causes desolations" and "the beast" he is the chief one most Christians are wary of.., hence we call this particular son of Satan.., "THE Antichrist".

He is alive and well in the Middle East and will come (i believe) in the guise of the Muslim's awaited Mahdi ( a kind of messiah for Muslims). This will be the son of perdition, the one who causes desolations. He is virtually identified by the Biblical prophet, Daniel.

The Angel Gabriel shown Daniel an abominable temple which will sit on a wing of the Temple Mount, and from there comes "one who causes desolations".
DANIEL 9:27

Today we see the "Dome of the Rock" Muslim Mosque sitting squarely on the Temple Mount in Israel (formerly site of Solomon's Temple). Half the Prophecy has taken place with the presence of this Temple. Now "one who causes desolations" (the Antichrist) must come to complete that part of the prophecy.

Keep in mind, this prophecy was made some few thousand years before Islam was born! (Islam circa 600-620 AD).

President of Iran has spent millions of $$ on preparing for the Mahdi (the muslim messiah) and has declared in official meetings, last year, that this Mahdi will arrive within 2 years - meaning -next year.

The vision given Daniel was the Muslim Mosque and the Antichrist (I believe is this Mahdi) will do something major at the Dome of the Rock mosque or its sister Mosque, The Al-Aqsa. Perhaps (maybe) he will make the false peace treaty with Israel for seven years, since it is mentioned in DANIEL 9:27

The "Dome of the Rock" holds within, a black moon-rock that the Muslims revere and kiss - an absolute Idol worship act that is and always has been an abomination in the sight of God - THUS - this Mosque IS the Abominable Temple spoken of by Daniel..., and the Abomination that Causes Desolation is standing where it does NOT belong - just as Daniel foretold AND just as Jesus warned about...,
GOSPEL of MARK 13: 14-23 .., incidental .., Jesus warns of many claiming to be Christ in this passage for good reason! According to Islam's belief about this Mahdi -a man will join him claiming to be Jesus and will tell all Christians that this Mahdi is the true anointed one - and this man who claims to be Jesus is a fake.., THE FALSE PROPHET - spoken of in REVELATION chapter 13 verses 11-18

This man (false jesus) may even be the Pope who claims to be representative of Christ on Earth.

Whether you believe this or not - when this Muslim "Mahdi" shows DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR ALLEGIANCE and I refer you back to the entire chapter of Revelation 13. When he shows up, you will know there is a God - BUT you better pray its not too late.

if you take his system of identity or worship him even once, or do one thing he says out of obedience - you will be damned automaticly with no hope of salvation. As it is, every sinner has a chance at salvation - but alegiance to this son of satan (the Antichrist) will insure instant damnation.

Every generation of peoples that have lived since Christ, have thought that they were living in the last days.....just think of what the people thought during WWII w/ Hitler....even today, with all that is going on, I am looking upward and awaiting that trumpet blast.....Jesus HAS to be getting real sick of what humanity has evolved into. How much more can He take?? Come Lord Jesus, Come!!
