Do not blame the messenger, blame the law makers and the government. OK there are some bad police out there, but they will be found out and dealt with at some stage. I understand that the law is sided towards the criminal but that is no the police on the grounds fault. Be an upstanding citizen and don't get into trouble and then you will have no reason to hate the police.

Firstly you should put why you hate the police
they have a job to do and admittedly they sometimes do go over the top with certain people and don't do enough with others
but in general they do a great job and those who get into trouble only have one person to blame ... themselves ... without the police could you imagine what would happen in this world of ours ... for instance 9/11 in America and 7/7 in the u.k. .... now come on if you're attacked by gang who are you going to turn to for justice .... THE POLICE .. so if you hate the police you must have a reason

NO don't hate em. Cause they put their lifes on the line 24/7 for very little pay to put up and protect people. My family (large and extened) has been and is on both sides of the law. I have police officers in my family and outlaws. But respect for the police (yea I know we still break the law) was something we learned from a very young age. IF we break the law and get caught then hey we got caught the officer is only doing his job no disrespect is given.

Used to, during my 20s, when I was ignorant; thank God, since then, I've been enlightened and I've matured. Before I knew/learned better, I thought it was the cool/in thing to do. How chicken we are to be afraid to be our own person, and not follow the crowd. How wonderful it is to know what your own standard is so that you don't have to be/do what any/everybody else is doing to feel in--to feel worthy. It's from being afraid to be alone. Once you find out/learn you're never alone/always loved, you don't need earthly love, because you have a constant source of heavenly love.

Now, I don't hate anyone; I do my best to love the unloveable. What a terrible waste of energy hate is. When you learn to channel that energy into love, your whole world changes for the better.

I hope you can have the same experience.

I don't like it when they stick up for each other even if they know the other cop did something wrong.

I don't like it when they kill a citizen and use the excuse "I feared for my life". They use that excuse every single time a citizen is killed by a cop. I wonder if they are told to say that at the police academy so they can get off the hook when they know they've made a mistake.

I can understand it when someone is aiming or firing a gun at them but not in all cases.

Why do so many people complain about the police. They are just doing their jobs. They are ordinary people. like everyone else. They have their fault too. Try say the same thing when your house has been burglarized or you are robbed at gun point...you wonder where they are at. Give the policeman a break...they are doing a job very few of us would every consider.

No, I don't hate police...and it appears that the people that DO hate them have a reason....like maybe they break the law and get caught......which is exactly what police are for.

Let's see now. Uncle on mom's side, policeman. Uncle on dad's side, policeman.. Two cousins, police.. one cousin in law, police..
You get some nasty ones wherever you go, just like in anything else. Easiest way to avoid them, stay out of trouble.
No, I do hate the police..
I'm not too fond of some of the laws we have though..

With out police you probably would not have a car or TV set, furniture, or anything that you saved hard to buy, because thief's would have taken them already. They would also be breaking into stores, car dealer ships, and banks, how would you like that. No police no order.

If you have a bad day maybe something gets spilled on you, or someone is rude to you or worst case you get fired. If a cop has a bad day they might get shot, killed, or have to go to a home and tell a mother that her child is dead. Cops are awesome and I'm sorry if you've had a bad experience with one or some. A cop kept me alive after an accident, what did you do at work this week that someone will remember it 15 years?
