Israel would be invincible (Zechariah 12:6-9). Since 1948, tiny Israel has been attacked in three major wars and six lesser wars, yet despite being vastly outnumbered, they have defeated all attacking foes. Even during the final battle, when it looks like Israel will be destroyed, the Lord shall deliver her. (Jeremiah 30:3-7; Zechariah 14; Mark 13:14-20). An invincible Israel makes no sense – unless you believe God’s Word.

If Israel was 'invincible' why was it 'created' anew in 1948? It should never have disappeared. The only reason Israel is still in existence today has nothing to do with the Lord, but a lot to do with the 'state of the art' weapons and billions of dollars in 'aid' that the US keeps giving them.
I'm starting to think that the continued 'existence' of Israel is not worth the price the rest of the world is paying.
I wish they would stop referring to themselves as 'The Chosen People'. What a load of crock!

I think what is written in the bible is not the Israel nowadays. Israel government nowadays is more to be a scoundrel and a bully, no body is attacking them, but yet they attacking others, two soldier that is being captured by the Hamas/Hezbollah is being brought to Lebanon, which the Lebanon Government have no control on stoping them immediately, and what is the answer from the Israeli government? air strike!!! after 24 years of 'peace' remember one thing ' 1 wrong doing that being plan precisely and perfectly can defeat 10 good deeds that is not planned properly' so Israeli Government, with the help of America 'unfortunately' plan every single step to make it look true in the eyes of the world. The media is being used properly by them from time to time , to spread the propaganda's to make them look like fighting the non-exist terrorist for the peace of the world. 1 Question. who give that place in palstenian soil back in 1948 to Israel? if it is not the American Government. that is actually wrong. why dont give part of US soil itself?

You mean, like Britain has? Never been a land invasion for nearly 1000 years, fought off eevry threat to it since..does that make me some sort of Chosen one?

Besides, i dont think God was counting on American Guns and Tanks being used to keep Israel strong, or is that in the longer, un-edited version?

''And Lo, the Lord spoke unto Israel. 'My Children, you will face all manner of enemies and survive all. With Stingers Missles and Abrams Tanks, thou shalt smite all who dare tiddle you off''

Besides, Israel has only been a country since the 1950's..not exactly a long amount of time is it?

Well also when GOD and JESUS refer to Isreal they are not always refering to a country or a nation. Isreal also means the Jewish race in the bible. They are Gods chosen people so they and it are protected by GOD as well as punished for the wrong doings. Everything will be destroyed in the end times. Do you know what the mean invincible means???incapable of being over come or defeated this remains true until GOD decides its time.

Acctually the Bible does refer to Isreal as Gods chosen people. The fact that It was formed in the late 1940s is in itself biblicle also. This is all prophesied in the old testiment. And yes the Bible does say that Isreal will not be defeated. It's all in there...you just gotta read it. Some of you should do a little research before you try to argue a point.

So what is the question??? Israel will NEVER be defeated again until the ANTI-CHRIST defeats them in his quest for JEURUSALEM just prior to his defeat in Armegeddon. This doesn't mean that Israel may lose battles, and lives. It just means that the State of Israel will not be defeated. GO GOD !!!

Israel itself is only as strong as God allows her to be. When she turned away from God in the past, she was soundly defeated and taken into captivity. This drawing near to God and then falling away has happened multiple times due to pagan leaders and people turning them away.
The Israel of the future is as you say. She will be attacked on multiple fronts, only after she has anihilated a large military contingent. When it seems all is lost and she is about to be conquered, the Messiah Jesus will return and establish His kingdom on earth.

Israel was not invincible before. Remember the Romans? They were not there just on vacation, you know.

israel had fought 5 wars.
israel defends itself we try to defend ourself and thats why we look invincible. our wars are wars for survival, and i guess we have to be left standing in them to keep this country alive.

and for "acu", EVERYTHING and i mean EVERYTHING you wrote is complete bulshit, i dont know who told you that but the FACTS are different.
that place was devided between the jews and arabs (palestinians) by the UN. they were residents here with jews, NOT the goverenant here.

i wont tell you the entire story but the jews got much smaller part of the land than the arabs by the UN, and we agreed, they didnt.

what with the connection people do with us and the us, we want to live here, not somewhere else.
you should look at history books once in a while.

how we control the media?! the reporters look for tradegies and you can find it in israel.

the jews gave the romans one of the toughest rebellion.

I fail to see any modern States referred to in the bible. The State of Israel is no exception.
