Women who consider themselves independent women do you still like to be romanced and do you like to romance your man? Also do you still consider yourself 'ladies' in the sense wanting a gentleman to still open doors, pull out your chair, etc???

I am independent... but I love to be romanced and thought of in a special way..... he has to shower me with respect and thoughtfulness or I don't stay interested....... and I romance him back.... no doubt about it.

Yes, because we are independent we know what we want and treating us very well is bonus points and will keep you apart from the non-romantic guys.

Just because a woman is indepentant doesn't mean they dont want romance.....simply put, we can take care of ourselves, by ourselves. We still want to have someone to grow old with and to be our 'other half'. We just can't find men who aren't intimidated by that.
