Why can't we all please write in grammatically correct English? English is not my first language, but I make an effort to spell correctly and construct coherent sentences. Please use your spell check.

In response to Randy: I placed this question in this category, because this is the category in which I ask and answer questions. Furthermore, the writing skills of some contributors in this category are appalling.

I could care less if they talk or write or speak well. I care what they say-that is what is important!

Some of the biggest Snakes in the world have those qualities.

Sounds like RandyGE has issues. I think you are correct in your observations. I am truly surprised at how our educational system is failing to teach proper English. Perhaps some people are just too lazy to learn. You get an A+ for your question.

1 - Not everyone has the same education level
2 - Making the effort is only half of it.
3 - Using spell check doesn't correct grammar and/or punctuation.

Good initiative though...

It's becaue we as a group of English speaking people...have become very lazy in the way that we type...We can write in English properly, even speak properly, but when you sit at a keyboard, and start typing, it is very tough not to cut corners, and start mispelling, and simplifying everything you type.

You have to learn that Americans have the right to misspell words and butcher the english language if we want . Be proud of yourself that you're so fluent . Maybe we need a better educational system (or better leaders) to attain that goal.

Technology such as computers has made people very lazy and the school systems aren't a big help either. It's like somebody scratching their fingernails against a chalkboard. LOL

I can surely understand what you are saying, and I know that a lot of times it's very hard to even understand what point some people are trying to get across but it's not all that bad.

You know something though? Well, I better not!

Couldn't agree more.
For English not being your first language, you speak very articulately.
Good luck in trying to get others to do so though.
You have to remember, there are people as young as 10 years old here.

I totally agree. It embarrases me when I see this type of grammar and punctuation being used (or misused I should say). I wonder if school-aged children are typing and writing this way. What a shame.

Do you mean in Yahoo! Answers? If so, I'm sorry about anything being hard to understand for you. I hope people will listen to you, even though I know that I am also guilty of what you are accusing everybody of.
