CNN and other news stations have been reporting about Israels side of the story and the capturing of TWO soldiers, when more than a HUNDRED INNOCENT Lebanese people have been KILLED. They fail to talk about how many means of transportation have been bombed and people are w/out electricity. I'm Lebanese and half of my family members and friends are in danger and it SUCKS.

OMG i so agree. Where is the other side of the story?? OK no its 15 israeli's dead 4 civilians and 11 soilders compared to +100 lebaneese civilians dead. I head that on the news today even though american news tends to be biast.
Ok people, Israel has lebanese people, it kidnapped them. Hizbollah wants there release so they kidnapped 2 israeli soilders idk if they were on the border or not so im not gona guess and say. SO why doesnt israel give back lebanon its people and lebanon give back israels. That sounds like a good answer!

I can only imagine the situation you're in and your concern for your friends and family. However, I think that you're glossing over the reason that Israel is attacking Palestine.
Palestinians crossed the Israeli border and kidnapped soldiers. Palestinians have fired countless missles into Israel. Lebanon then got into the situation and bombed Israel. These Palestinians and Lebanese are the ones who decided that Palestinian and Lebanese collateral damage really isn't that important. Did they think Israels shouldn't or wouldn't defend themselves?
Israel isn't totally innocent, I'm not saying that. The people you should be upset with are the Palestinians and Lebanese who aggravated the Israeli assult.

Israel is only standing up for its existence. They've been attacked time after time after time. And many of those times it was by Hezbollah.
It sucks when war puts innocent people in danger, but Hezbollah started it (so they're the stupid one) and if Lebanon didn't want to be involved in the inevitable war between Israel and Muslim terrorists, then Lebanon shouldn't have housed and shielded Hezbollah.
It sucks, but if people don't want Israel responding to being attacked, then they should get Muslims to stop attacking Israel in the first place.

The count is climbing and the last report was that the Prime Minister of Lebanon said that they may send troops to S Lebanon to GET RID OF THE HEZBOLLAH, I guess that Israel may have the right idea. They want the terrorists to leave them alone and they take no nonsense. If you harbor terrorists in your country and they attack Israel they attack you. And most of those killed were Hezbollah's and those that weren't the terrorists were hiding behind. Did you ask this question when Israeli children and civilians were dying?? No!! Why not???

I'm sorry for your family and all the innocent people killed on both sides. I just hope the Lebanese people will have the strength to throw the teariest out of their country and coexist with Israel. No one wins in war !

As soon as Lebanon gets Hezbollah out of their country, Israel will stop bombing them. It's as simple as that. They have every right to inflict as much damage as they can to people who attack them.
Israel has unilaterally pulled out of occupied territory and is being punished for it. You would think that if the Palestinians and the Lebanese were at all interested in peace they would have done something else with those territories than used them as launch sites for their rocket attacks into Israel.
The truth is they don't want peace and they don't give a rat's *ss about Israeli civilians. Therefore, Israel has my permission to bomb the hell out of their enemies!

Israel has the right to defend her self by all means. You can't rationalize with terrorist, b/c violence is all they know and the only way might understand to halt any more harm they are doing-if they even stop. They are stubborn jackassses, so yeah. Also, Israel isn't all innocent. For decades they (most middle eastern countries) have been fighting to gain religious triumph, including Israel, b/c they think that their own religion is the supreme. So, they too are guilty in a sense.

My prayers are for the innocent Lebanese that are stuck in this mess that Hezbollah and Iran have created for you. I think that Israel will soon solve this problem for your people by removing that long standing terror organization. I think as a terror group you will find little sympathy in the USA for Hezbollah but I do again pray for the innocent people on both sides.

Why does the Hezbollah keep provoking Israel? Why can't the Lebanese stop their support of Hezbollah? If they really care about peace they should disapprove of Hezbollah's actions and force them to return the two soldiers.

I feel sorry for the civilians in the area... but Israel has the right to defend itself... if the Lebanese government is too weak to stop terrorists from using their land as a base for attacking Israel -- then Israel has every right to go in and kill those that are attacking them...
