Only the US will stand by Israel. That does not even have anything to do with the issue. At this point, the US has become conditioned like a dog, to always follow Israel's lead and wishes. Every other country, while they disapprove of Israel and its kidnapping of the soldiers, will see that the so-called retaliation is way out of proportion, denotes vicious intents to destroy another country that once humiliated Israel, total disregard for any lives, if non-Jewish, and inefficient tactics. To reign in Hezbollah, the world and Israel will have to deal with Syria. Until then, even if Lebanon were to be flattened and thousands of Lebanese to die, Hezbollah will be alive and kicking, and the Israeli soldiers still captive. But Israel is not stupid, it is a vicious aggressor and would enjoy obliterating Lebanon, even if it does not lead to freeing the soldiers or annihilating Hezbollah.

Ok well Hizbollah is defending the kidnapped lebanese and so in return it kidnapped 2 israeli's. Israel should give back the 3 kidnapped lebanese for the 2 kidnapped israelis. I mean come on Hizbollah is the only group that stands up to israel. Its not gona stand by and be like yes kidnapp my people while i stand here and do nothing.

Lebanon isn't fighting against Israel, Hezbollah is the ones that are doing the fighting. However, Lebanon is to blame because the attacks came out of its territory.

I think that if such vote were to happen, the U.S. would be the only ones to support Israel.

properly once you're making a promise the full aspect is to save it. So certain, besides the undeniable fact that it is the G8, what do you assume? The double criteria and hypocrisy of the G8 is astounding.
