The game, Ouija, is based on a Spiritualist method of ‘communicating’ with the dead, and is played with a board like those used at seances.” If the Ouija board is made to work by spirits, what spirits are they? Certainly not spirits of the dead, because “the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5)
So we can only conclude that the Ouija board is activated by demonic forces, the foremost of whom, Satan, is “the father of the lie.” (John 8:44) Clearly, the Ouija board, as well as all other forms of spiritism, should be shunned by those who wish to avoid Satan’s unclean influence.—Deuteronomy 18:10-12.
The connection of the Ouija board with divination, spiritism and “uncanny power,” all of which God disapproves, along with the frightening experiences that many have had, makes it plain that experimenting with the Ouija board could have only a detrimental effect on you.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no communing with the spirits of the once living. there is, however, communing with evil spirits who masquerade themselves as the once living. These are known as "familiar spirits" because they are familiar with certain individuals who have died, and so mimic the once living in order to deceive the living. Ouija boards rely on the summoning of evil spirits in order that the "game" piece move. Use of an ouija board can open the door of someone's life to further demonic activity and influence, and do so by right and invitation. Ouija boards are nothing more than a tool to invite demonic oppression and deception and activity.

I believe the Ouija board is a way to lose money and to have fun with your friends. If you want a REAL "Ouija board", get a pendulum of some sort -- try quartz crystal, clear -- and a piece of paper with the letters A - Z and numbers 1 - 9. Ask a question. Watch the pendulum move.
Trust me. If you want to talk to the dead, you can do it on your own. That's only for people without Clairvoyance and Clairaudience, though.
Regarding the rest of your question, though... if you are unexperienced and believe in ghosts, you'll have problems. Same goes for demons. It all goes with what you believe.

What do I think of them? I use to make them. Using art supplies and canvas,I must admit, I didn't do too bad of a job. But yes, I've dabbled in some things in my past such as witchcraft and concentrating to try levitating things and Ouija boards.
My experiences were not so good. I had problems with fear and anxiety. I use to think I was going to die.
This was just a phase I went through during my teens and have done candle spells on and off.
But what it all came down to was desiring that certain person to love me in return. I got to thinking, I could get anything I want through just praying since I don't want anything of the unusual that no one else would want. I figured someday I'll find that special person and I just accepted who I was.
I'm just an ordinary girl who use to be into it for all the wrong reasons and now I know I don't need power to impress my friends or scare other people to fear or respect me.
I've been sticking to my faith and that works best for me.

waste money on a piece of junk. Seriously, what's so special about a piece of cardboard and plastic from a production line. Make your own ouija board. You can make anything psychically linked to the afterlife if you want to believe in that sort of stuff.

Apparently, some people don't perceive anything from the Ouija board, while others need Divine intervention to get rid of the bad spirits. When I was in the third grade, I had a friend who used it to do her math homework (we didn't have calculators). We used it together once...once was enough. I never used it again and she got rid of it. I've talked to friends who had similar experiences with it.
Spirits are a lot easier to attract than to get rid of.
Hoping the best for you....

Teenagers using Ouija boards are considered one of the biggest blunders in the history of the entire human race and considered as a crime against human nature to conduct the acts of witchcraft, Satanism, and blasphemy against the Almighty God! I just don't want to let teenagers use Ouija boards to summon an evil interdimensional being who is the leader of the wicked mole people from the belly of Hades!

I had one when I was about 12 or so. Nobody older than that should actually believe you can talk to the dead with it. I think I heard somewhere that, subconsciously, people are moving it without realizing it. There's certainly nothing satanic about it.
Wow, I can't believe some of these responses. You people are mixing up superstition with religion--as happens so often. A ouiji board is a TOY!

Mmm...
The only reason it's associated with the devil is because of Hollywood portrayals...
As of actually working, there's not much "scientific evidence" behind it... it's the users hands on the piece, and if a spirit made it move, it would be a sort of "possession" that would most likly be felt.
Not saying it doesn't work, but it is one of the more skeptical tools out there...

Ouija boards are just the original tools for text messaging. I see nothing wrong with using just another tool for communicating with spirits and the like.
