Google "Craig's list" then the name of your town for a used couch. For other ideas, look at estate sales in your local newspaper.

For new furnitue, you'll need to do some legwork. Start by calling around and asking what price ranges there are for the length of couch you need. Also ask about delivery options in your area. They usually come in 6, 8 or 9 foot pieces. Then go to the stores with the best price ranges. Take the time to sit, lie down and try to lift each couch. Then make your decision.

Good luck!

Do you have an Oak Liqiudators? Or Jennifer? Actually...I know this sound strange but the Salvation Army Thrift store here in town...started doing custom couches for $299 each.

I found my couch on eBay for $49.99 and 30 minutes away, it was less than a year old and in perfect condition.

Good luck Hon!
