nope with the water supply and disease spread and the reliance on foriegn food they are screwed

No. Not unless they boost up their economy, produce more food for their people, make better use of their natural resources, and allow free elections so that they're more likely to get more competent leaders. Oh, and they'd have to deal with the U.S. Considering that China is a Communist state, those things won't happen anytime soon.

I think economically china and india will be the next rulers in that respect..And considering that most of the world's population speaks mandarin..and how hard working the chinese as a whole are...i think it's entirely possible....the US is in such bad shape financially etc...its done it to itself....I am neither chinese nor american.

Every group of people can rule the world and one of these is the Chinese considering that their economy is booming and they could be a superpower someday like the United States.

No, their language is pretty much spoken mainly within their borders.

English will continue to remain the unofficial "world-wide" language.
More people are studying English as a second language than any other.

If you rely solely on historic patterns of geopolitical change, I suppose they will, but the increasingly easy movement of people and resources from place to place makes it unlikely that any nation will rule the world.

If they put poison in their food. Everyone eats chinese food.

Why would you think that anyway? There are lots of groups that are growing fast, even if China is currently the largest.

They're currently taking the U.S. and Canada away from the Jews without firing a shot. So it does seem possible that they might.
