You don't have to. Let your money do the talking.

I don't really say much. I am an okay player and my strongest asset is that I am not predictiable. So by staying quiet and really watching all that is going on - even when I am out of the hand- helps a lot. I find that not trying to converse much really helps in the end. GL2U

Naturally. And carefully.

Very often people offer tells with their talk. For instance, a talkative player might clam up when he gets good cards, or betray his nervousness with fast talk.

It's always best to betray as little as you can.

However, in a friendly game, where talking is what people do, just make sure that you remain consistent with the way you interact, so as not to give away your hand.

Also remember at all times that it's to your advantage to try to get others talking. Let them be the one's to make the fatal mistake.

Good luck!

Try and throw them off. Act casual and a little sloppy/stupid. Give them NO REASON to respect you. Play a hand "by accident" that isn't that great, and say,"oh! A flush is higher than a straight?..woops."

Basically your an actor. Have fun. Throw them off near the beginning. Make them pay at the end.
