Ok so everyone is saying Neuspeed is the best short shifter but all i can find is the piece that goes under the hood... not the actual short shifter itself..... Is it the same? How does that work?

It's basically the same result.

The Neuspeed unit replaces the stock shift bracket assembly on the transmission and uses your existing shifter in the cab.
