Zoloft is an anti-depressant and the effects of marijuana will NOT neutralize it, however it (MJ) does react with brain chemistry and change it also. So while you still have the effects of Zoloft in your brain and it is working, your not getting the effects because your under the influence of the THC, which lets be honest, is in many ways preferable. HOWEVER, I can tell you pot IS NOT THE ANSWER. It simply distracts you from your true problems which NEED TO BE ADDRESSED and fixed which is why your taking Zoloft in the first place. When you get off the marijuana, the zoloft will then return to the forefront in the brains receptors and be useful once again. So why pay for a medication you get no use from?

and ps, I smoked marijuana for 10 years and it is a depressant. Sorry. It really is, why do you think your eyes glaze over and you nap? bad pot, bad pot

I think Zoloft reacts with anything that's going to have an affect on your brain. I think the marijuana wants to put more dopamines in your brain and the zoloft wants to regulate the dopamines. So there you have a cat and dog fight right there in your head!
