When I first started drinking I hated beer. I always had mixed drinks. Now I find that a cold beer goes down really easy on a hot day.

Stepping back almost a decade now... the first beer I ever had was bottled Fosters Ice and I loved it for about 6 months until I got some other older-looking friends and we discovered alcopops.

But if you're talking a good mug of ale, or bitter - well, there are just some things in life you don't appreciate at 15!!!

Hot day = pint o' bitter, arrr

I think it must be but your tastes do change over the years. A pint of beer on a really hot day is one of life's pleasures.

I think it is. I remember the day that I didn't like the taste of the stuff, now I really look forward to a cold one after a hard day. It's the same as coffee, you have to acquire the taste.

I'm not that keen on the taste but I've had a lot of good times/parties that have started with a cold beer either after work or the weekend so to have one, reminds me of that, so its good.

Sounds like you're from Ireland or England. I'm from Arizona, but originally from Washington--- beer is a inherited taste-- you either like it or not ---in the winter I like Guiness from the old country--the reat of the year make it wet, cold and yummy.

I never did like it when I first tried it.
I would rather not drink than have beer
Then some ten years later I tried again now I love it...well it has to be brown ale, still can't stand the other stuff

Well, considering that I drink 10 bottles a day, maybe.

Remember: LIGHT BEER IS BAD BEER!

God I need to use the bathroom now. Oh whoops, damnit. Wet my pants. Third time today.

It is definitely an acquired taste. My first beer was a Busch and I hated it. Come to think of it, Busch still isn't very good.
