Lots of things make people feel uncomfortable in the army. It's not supposed to be a picnic. That's what people keep telling me anyway. Females know guys are, or might be attracted to them all the time, And it often makes them feel uncomfortable. And it's sometimes the same for guys, like if a fat ugly girl thinks you are hot, and you know about it. That could make you really uncomfortable. Should we only allow one gender in the army? Or maybe only pretty people in the army?

also, I think it might be more a fear of rejection from anyone that gets people. Maybe the gay guy in the shower thinks you are ugly, and that's what is really bothering you. lol

I'm saying the whole world is gay. rejection, was the wrong word I guess, I meant simply people thinking negative instead of positive things about them.

Just admit you're gay and get it over with.

Yeah you can continue to think that, but contrary to your beliefs the whole world isn't gay. I was in the army, and nobody told me I was cute in the shower. If they did, they would know not to ever say that again.
LOL, I had a fat ugly chick in medic school drooling over me, I just let her know on a daily basis that she is fat, ugly, and someone psychotic.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell works...

I'm an Airborne Armored Reconnaissance Expert (19D3P) and it's about as macho a job as you can have... by and large... my peers and I don't give a damn what you do in your spare time. As long as you can show up to work on time, ready to deploy, engage and destroy the enemies of the United States of America in close combat, your Joe enough for me.

Now we do have a tendency to discuss our sexual exploits after a good weekend (I don't think that's appropriate myself and I don't engage in it). And if your sexual exploits go something like..."Hey Bob did I tell ya about the guy I shagged last night??? I DAMN SURE DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT!!!!

If you are the professional service member in the US Military at this time, you would not someone to jeopardize the mission on your behalf, because she/ he has a secret passion for you.

Regardless, personal affections does not come with your sea bag nor duffel bag.

Not on my watch, not on my ship, and not in my NAVY!

If the gay guy in the shower thinks I'm ugly, I'm flushing the toilet on his azz!
