I love you too. And you are right, there are all kinds of love. God says that love is the answer to all the problems in the world. If only we could make the Middle East see this. Isn't a true shame what is happening there, near where the Lord was born, preached and grew up?! They really need our prayers.

Sexuality is not confined to love but they can make a very happy combination.
Your comment sounds a bit mawkish..I don't find it very convincing as I don't think you can love what you don't know...it's not fair to you and it's not fair to the other really...
Just treating us as casual love objects is no better than treating us as casual sex objects if you think about it!
Now if you love me for a special quality...that gives me a warm feeling but otherwise the statement is robotic and without meaning to me, you don't love me ...you don't know me.
But you may continue anyway...it's a nice if silly thought!

Yes, because we will not love or be loved by just anybody. Loving all is the utmost impossible proposition. But, we are human and should have no shame in trying to extend love to everybody because only a handful will accept and receive our love. Then we just try to love those who accept us really well.

If you're saying "I love you" in the Christian sense, a lot of Atheists will get all huffy...They can't stand it when Christians share the love.
