The Mormons are pretty friendly, whereas the Catholics and the Protestants not.

Well I'm a Lutheran - Missouri Synod, and I'd say, Lutheran or Orthodox would be my favorite. I wouldn't join an Orthodox church unless I moved somewhere, where there was no church of my denomination (i.e. Greece or Russia). Or I married someone from another denomination I might change.
I personally just consider a scriptural (specifically teachings of Christ) foundation most important for a Christian.
As for non-denominational there is really no such thing. All churches have certain practices, liturgy, music, etc. Though they may share these practices with most denominations, they are still not truly non-denominational.

Lutheran, the liberal variety. I like the theology and the climate. I find that "how friendly the members are" depends a great deal on the congregation, not its religious stance.
Just a side note: Some cults had been known to be exceptionally friendly. So much so that new members were attracted to that rather than paying attention to what the cult stood for.

Roman Catholicism considering that almost all of the Christian denominations originated from it. Even the Pope whose hierarchy comes from Jesus Christ is the head of the Catholics and no other group.

Armenian Orthodox. It's not that it's my favorite, it's the only church I attend. We're not talking about comparing ice cream flavors here...like do you prefer chocolate over vanilla. Most people don't go around sampling different denominations and decide which is their favorite...they either affiliate with one denomination or choose not to at all. Favorites are for TV shows, cars, colors, foods, etc.
Let me guess...you're Mormon, right?

i personally am Assemblies of God ...but to me to put a name on a denomination is crazy , God never meant for there to be a seperation in the church ( and when i say church i mean his people that has excepted his son Jesus as their Lord and Savior ) thats when it becomes seperation is when people only want to aknowledge certain parts of the bible and dismiss what does not suit them in my opinion. it should be a close, intimate relationship between God and yourself which forms spiritualism .not religion of denominations
