The LCDs and Plasmas are made by Xiamen Overseas Chinese Electronics Company A.K.A. XOCECO http://www.xoceco.com.cn/eweb/index.asp Some of their own TVs labeled "Prima" are the same TVs as Polaroid. Here's their American Subsidiary http://www.primaamerica.com NOTE: the style of the Prima logo is a bit different from the first link, but is the same company, the Chinese website have the old design.

Though Polaroid LCD TV's are manufactured by Polaroid, they are made in the same factory in China as a similar model of Sony TV. Just a note on their newer TV's, there is absolutely no difference between the FLM-3232 32" HDTV (sold at Circuit City) and the FLM-323B 32" HDTV (sold at wal-mart for $100 cheaper.)

And while I'm on the subject, Polaroid in no longer Polaroid, but Petters Consumer Brand. In the late 1990's PCB started to license the Polaroid name to put on portable DVD players. They made so much money from this that in 2000 when Polaroid ran into financial troubles and declared bankruptcy, they bought the company out right.

I know this is probably more than you needed, but I work for Polaroid customer service, and it's slow today :)
