Because really high heels make a girl look trashy.

well, i remember in fifth grade, my parents definately had a problem w/ that (mainly cause my mom twisted her ankle and had NOTHING to do w/ heels) and then just last year, wait, maybe two years ago i bought like really high sandals w/out telling my parents and they got REALLY mad but i didn't have any other ones so i wore them once in a while but now i wear them all the time and for my graduation this year, i had really high heels (but my mom liked them!) and they were the highest heels out of all the girls.
it might take some time but i think your parents will eventually not care.

Really high heels are awkward. I'm a very fashionable person and i've learned that high heels are unfashionable and way out of style now.
if someone sees you wearing super high heels then they'll be like, "ew! look at that girls shoes."
now if you're a person who doesn't care what people think,
then go for it and wear them.
but as i can see, you care what your parents think, so you must have a really hard time with what people think.
so if you want my advice..
lose the heels, girly. â¥

i think thats stupid too but they think we are going to start having heel problems from high heels.

Well really this would all depend on how you wear them. 1- with jeans and sexy jacket-good, can't complain. 2- white heels with tight and very short little mini. This unfortunately equals very annoyed parents and angry, confused young girl- take my advice, wear them with jeans and keep some class!!

High heels really make your legs look nice, plus...they're SEXY!
You, of course, want to look as sexy as you can.....but, I'm sure you can understand how most parents wouldn't want their daughter to have that air of sexuality about them.
They will probably always think of you as their "little girl." LOL!

It actually is not good for you. Medically speaking. Don't know why your parents have an issue, why not ask them. I think it's stupid that you don't know what's up with that and calling it stupid.

They want you to have respect for yourself. With my experiance, teenage girls who wear heels usaully are (*you know*) or have miniskirts.
I would talk it over with your parents and explain why you want to wear them, like I did.
But for pete's sake's don't say because everyone else is.
