I asked Christians, "What evidence do they have that spirits can think?"

The following so called answers that Christians gave were not even answers and had nothing to do with the question at hand.

Christianity is all about faith. Note: This has nothing to do with evidence that spirits can think but this person is suggesting that I shouldn't even be asking the question

There are spirits right now confusing your brain. Note: This is not an answer but an attack on me for asking a question that this person can't answer.

God is real. Note: This is obviously not an answer because it has nothing to do with evidence that spirits can think

You lack the ability to define what is is Note: This is not an answer to the question. If I could define it, I wouldn't be asking the question.

Spirits are made up of all kinds of unseen things. Note: This is telling me nothing so therefore, it is not an answer .

You are right! You didn't get good answers. But a sample of 10 is hardly enough to be considered a rigorous statistical sample, is it? And definitely not enough to condemn an entire group of people, for if it is, then every group is condemnable, including a few groups that I am sure you qualify for.

A better response, however, is that you have not supported your position that spirits cannot think. What evidence do you have to refute the position that they can? Oh, gee, that appears to be the same amount, if not less, than the amount of evidence offered up by the 10 people who answered your leading question. Remember them? The 10 people that you said were stupid? Well, you are no smarter than they are, big fella.

Move along, nothing to see here. Just a self-agrandizing J.A.

Christians are not stupid, some people just don't know how to handle some questions.

As a Christian I don't believe there are spirits around us or anything like that. I believe their in Heaven or hell and really couldn't care less what we on earth are doing, but could see what we were doing if they wanted to. I can't base this assumption on anything except religion classes I've taken and its only my opinion and not a fact somewhere. Places in the Bible (although sadly I can't give you a reference and don't intend on spending my day looking for one just to prove a point) it says satan wanted to be worshiped and that's why he sinned and ultimately condemned to hell.

I don't know why you assume Christians would believe in spirits(earthly ones) unless you were told this, I don't know. I hope my answer helped, and next time people who are unsure of themselves and maybe their faith attack you with words, be the bigger person and don't call all Christians stupid.

Spirits can think. It mentions in the Bible that Satan thought about and desired to be worshipped which is why he sinned. According to the Bible, spirits can think and have free will, and not only those that deviated like Satan.

Also, I do believe that certain events are influenced by spirits good or bad. If spirits can discern which path to take based on what they reason on, they must be able to think.

Nothing can be proof that Christians as a group are stupid, just because they aren't. Some Christians are. And some Jews and some atheists, too. I'd say your question is proof that you are stupid.

BTW, I'm not a Christian. It's debatable though whether I am or I'm not stupid.

You cant even see what is right in front of you... and Christians are stupid? We are not the ones who think one random guy some random day discovered the idea that we 'evolve'. Common sense says thats way more stupid than believing in God. You just dont want to have to live up to Him.

a spirit is the unseen part of a person a body is a mere habitation for that person. what you see in the flesh/body is the manifestation of that spirit/being/person. proof that spirit thinks look at the next living person alive!

Not really, it just proves these Christians are stupid. They do not speak for the entire Christian community which explains why the answers are so varied.

One third of the angles decided to follow Lucifer when he tried to over throw God.

When Jesus meet the man who was possessed with Legion, they ask that He would not cast them into the pit, but would send them into a near by herd of pigs. (They knew what their fate would be but did not want to receive it yet, so they ask for something else.)

The Bible says that anyone who doesn't believe in God is a fool..
