The woman pointed out that it is not just pit bull breeds being the target of this kind of hateful laws. Our pets are in danger, what would you do if someone wanted to ban the breed your pet belongs to. Did you knoe that the cocker spaniel bite more people than any other breed or that the chihuahua is more aggersive than the large breeds, Miss Hilton is being sued becasue tinker bell bite a policeman. There was a dog fight ring broke up that used chihuahuas. It gose to show that no matter what these people that turn dogs mean will find away for thier blood sprots. We need to stop the humans and banning dogs is not working.

True. A vicious dog that its owner can't control should be seized and euthanized regardless of its breed. And a good dog is a good dog, whether it's a pit bull or a rottie or a shar pei.

Write your congressmen and senators and let them know you don't approve of banning any breeds. Each dog should be judged on its merits - a vicious dog that its owners can't control should be put down whether it's a Chihuahua or a Poodle or a Pit Bull. Pit Bulls are rarely aggressive toward humans - their instincts are to kill other animals. The sub-humans who fight these dogs can actually step into the ring while two of them are killing each other and pull them apart without getting bitten. Try that with your OWN dog when he's in a fight!! (You are far more likely to be bitten by a Chihuahua, or a Dalmatian or a Chow!!)

I know read my answer to the previous question......It is the stupidest law that ever was passed to ban a breed..I mean how stupid do you have to be? Everyone who knows dogs know that Nurture far outweighs Nature, In rare cases where the dog was taken good care of by responsible owners, it was because of irresponsible In breeders not properly screening the dogs for defects that cause bad behaviour...Like Rage Syndrome which is what all Cocker Spaniels I have met had, even though the had good owners. Of all the pitty breeds I have lived with and known not one has bitten anyone or ever even acted remotely aggressive with people or other dogs for that matter. I used to live with a Mutt named Buddy and a American Bulldog(performance) named Nitro ....everyone was scared of the way Nitro looked and was scared of him biting and yet the were comfortable with Buddy the mutt, that was until I explained to them that Buddy was the more aggressive dog and had bit his owner on the face and would bite anyone that tried to take a toy away from him, or raised a hand to him. Nitro on the other hand was the wimpiest dog and was afraid of a freakin' SPATULA. Buddy consistently beat him in all areas.....more dominant more aggressive, more unpredictable, and far more prone too fighting with anither dog or attacking you if you tried to stop him from humping a blanket. Nitro was more likely to hump or lick a human to death rather than bite, for crying out loud when he got porcupine quills his owner pulled them out with his teeth because we had no pliers, and the dog didnt even budge, Buddy on the other hand had to be wedged in a door because he was trying to bite when they were pulling the quills out. I think people are ignorant for thinking the dogs breed affects how the dog acts, its stupid and ignorant. My dog another mutt is more likely to bite someone than any pitty breed I have ever known, not because he is mean but because he is fearful, and dislikes strangers....havent met a pitty breed yet that didnt love everyone even strangers like they were family.

Yes, it is not just Bully breeds.

And it is not just BSL, but stupid dangerous dog laws, mandatory spay/neuter, and anti-breeder laws.

Our dogs are being removed from us, ever so slowly, by warm and fuzzy sounding laws that are anything but, by making it harder and harder to own or breed dogs.

If people don't wake up to the threat of the animal rights movement and the ridiculous anti-dog laws being introduced and passed, we WILL NOT have pets in 20 years!
