Nope. And i'll explain why...*ahem*...

See this whole immigration issue, it isn't a civil rights issue, or even an economic issue, but a human rights issue. Men and women die trying to enter this country who no means of doing so otherwise. This isn't about laws or walls, but who get to live, and who gets to die.

The USA is so proud of it's human rights efforts abroad but when it come to our own borders we turn a blind, and often ignorant and hateful eye.

How can we say "bring me your poor, tired, huddled masses yearning to breathe be" and then add "...only if you have the right paper work?" People from other countries want to experience the american dream and sine when have we admonished such behavior?

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, right? We're the land of the free...and it's time we started acting like it.

Providing aids and comforts to an enemy state is treason.
but providing aids to illegal immigrants is not treason unless the illegal immigrants is an agent working for a foreign state and you provide him/her with our state secret. Maybe it should be considered a felony for employer who hires illegals.

I recommend you examine the US shape sometime. It'a genuinely particularly informative. as an occasion, it defines what treason is (hint: giving unlawful extraterrestrial beings financial help isn't treason). It additionally says who can discipline Senators and domicile participants. because Congress participants are not interior the protection stress, dereliction of accountability needless to say does not prepare. Who gets to punish a Senator for introducing a stupid bill? The voters in his or her state.

No I don't.

I believe in humanity and helping the poor and the indigent. I have been fortunate enough to have been blessed and I just feel as a Christian that is the right thing for me to do.

Christ message was never about enforcing laws or changing govt. He came to change hearts. He was never political. Sure he told us to obey laws and to pay taxes, but remember Simon the tax collector? He was hated for stealing from the Jews. Christ forgave him, when no one else would.

For it is about human rights. I personally know of the plight of the illegal. The hardships they endure, how they risk their lives to come here. It out of desperation, not because they want to break the law...

No I wouldn't call it treason, but I'd call it aiding an abedding a criminal. I hope this is also an issue come election time, when all the elected officials have to answer because they broke their oath of office, to uphold the laws of the US.

By definition if I give an enemy aid or comfort........I have committed treason. I do not consider illegal immigrants the enemy so therefore have not committed treason.

I think. therefore, YES! the aiding and abbetting of the foreign criminal invaders of MY country is a treasonous act, and should be punished as such.
We should all remember that justice is blind for a reason.
I also believe that what Bucky says is true.
Thanks for asking.
