The pictures are jpeg, but they are not able to open it. The computer does not recognize the CD. I am so sad!!! Please, help!

The CD is not bad because I tried it on another computer before I sent it and it opened. I am so confused!!! :(

Try burning the CD at a lower speed, The image will burn deeper so you can access it....also try burning a data CD instead.

It has nothing to do with where they are. They use the same computer equipment in Russia.

CDs go corrupt all the time, particularly very cheap ones that have been handled badly.

If you are just sharing jpegs, why not e-mail them (or if it's larger, send over a direct instant messaging or chat service.)? Put them in a ZIP archive or something. In todays world, there is really no reason to have to snail mail just a CDs worth of data...and I doubt the the images take up the whole CD.

It could be a bad cd.
Try another and use the validate files option.
You may want to burn at slower speed that makes it more compatable.
