Depends what kind of night your after. If you want a quiet drink there's places like The Long Bar or Destination.
Want a clubbish night there's Sam Jacks, Blu Bambu, Mood etc etc.
Like rockier music then theres Trillians, Legends and sometimes The Cosmic ballroom.

The quayside also has some good places but tend to be higher prices.

Once again, I agree with taxidriverUK. There is so much choice that you need to narrow it down a bit.

At the last count, I think there were over 70 bars in the City Centre alone. These range from the 'buy one drink and get about seven free, as long as you don't mind what your surroundings look like' type of bar, to the 'I could have bought a whole bottle for less than that but this leather sofa is very nice' type of bar.

Give us a clue, and me and the taxi driver will get you to the right place.

Hey. I live in Newcastle you've not really said what kind of night out you like? Kind of music? There are so many places to go you'll have to tell us what you like so we can narrow it down!

The Bigg Market if you're after underage girlies, the Quayside has adults but is expensive.
Personally I wouldn't bother buy a few cans or a bottle of wine, rent a decent DVD or better still read a good book.
