You are right. It is no different than war and peace. Peace exists after war and vice-versa. It is the same with love and hate. Its the chicken and the egg man, which came first.

If there were no hate we would not recognize love for what it is because we would have nothing to contrast it to. However; it would still exist probably even stronger than it would if it did exist for the simple reason of where there is hate hate will tend to push out love. Love sometimes pushes out hate but from experience usually it is the other way around.
However, we would not recognize it for what it is because we would know no difference.

There can never be a state of no love or no hate because at its root, love extends from an acceptance of what IS and hate comes from non-acceptance of what IS. there will always be acceptance and non-acceptance. Love is when one is present with his/her state of being. The truth of opposites is that positive IS and negative IS. The isness of these things means that they will never be changed until all humanity evolves into a place of acceptance of what IS and the ISNESS of the present moment. You may decide to promote this by becoming more aware and accepting of what is and surrenduring to the beauty of each moment. By doing so, you help humanity evolve itself.

No , Hate has nothing to do with Love. It comes from Lust &
Passion, which are driven by Selfishness.
While Love is based on Honour, Respect & Devoution ,
so If anything , LOVE can lead to Peace, and Glory.
Even the Grief of a Lost Love is Splendidly Beautiful . !!!

You shouldn't look at it like for every positive there's a negative try thinking for every negative there's a positive. But I do think that is very possible.

I also believe that there's a thin line between love & hate....there is a person that sometimes I feel I love & sometimes I feel I hate. You're best friends can become your worst enemies. It all sucks :( (I'm depressed, ignore me)

Everything must have an opposite. what goes up, must come down. If there is something big, there is something small. If there is good, there is evil. And if there is love, there is hate.

Love and hate are both motivated by passion. There is a fine line between them.

The theory of opposites is true to our understanding, but it's not directly causal. The existence of one is not causing the other. They both exist, and that's about it. They both 'are'.

No, the people who hate, are those who have never had love in their life. They have never had the feeling of being loved or have loved return.
