Why did Jesus adress God as Father in each recorded prayer except one, and yet in the Koran Jesus is called sinless, virgin born and a prophet and calling God father is said to be a sin.????
I find it a difficulty in reconsiling the texts of the Bible and Koran since Mohammed in the Koran said calling God father or saying he has a son is an unforgivable sin if both Isaiah and Jesus, two acknowledged prophets have clear texts where they as prophets called God father
how can this be reconsiled or should it? Clearly Isaiah preceeded the time of Christ by almost 7 centuries and the New Testament and Old both have consideral evidence showing their textual reliability that these are in fact statements of both Isaiah and Jesus

Isaiah 64:8
But now, O LORD, you are our Father;we are the clay, and you are our potter;we are all the work of your hand.
Matthew 26:39
And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will."
but in many prayers Jesus addresses God not exactly as Father but as abba
more like a term of endearment like daddy

and to add another point of complication
in the three audible times "The Father Speaks in the gospels" why did the father call Jesus Son in at least two of them putting the focus on Jesus
1) baptism This is my Son in whom I am well please
2) mount of transfiguration The is my Son listen to Him
3) at the temple: I have glorified You and will glorify you again

Reconcile this mess here:
Isaiah 9:6
A Messianic prophecy concerning Jesus:
A child is born, a son is given...
His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor,
The Mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Follow it closely...the Son IS the Father.
Now go find Philippians 2:6
Good luck.

I have never studied the Qu'ran however, the word Abba - meaning father or revered teacher is used in the bible, and this may be where any misunderstanding arises.
I feel that the prophet Mohammed meant that declaring yourself descended from God is a sin, (which Christians believe also).
It is merely interpretation that causes problems between the two religions, "I am a child of God" does not mean that God was one of my parents, however, that I allow God to teach me as my human father would.
The generalisation from this, if not bound by other corollaries would be, by inference, that Jesus could not be the physical son of the Supreme being, as this would not be allowed by the teachings of Mohammed. However, if he is acknowledged as a "sinless, virgin born" prophet, something has to give somewhere.
As Rogers and Hammerstein pointed out (and I will stretch a little) "The bible (and the Qu'ran) was written by men of faith not men of science".

You would be a fool to believe the word of Mohamed over that of Jesus. Jesus lived a good life like Moses but Mo hammed was a war leader, caravan thief, a slaver who raped captive slaves and he cohabited with a nine year old wife. After he fled from Egypt he went to Africa and continued as a slaver and Swahili is a slavers language today. It was the descendant Muslims who captured the black Africans and sold them to the white British and Americans.
It is all down in history so you can check it out yourself.
How can an evil man who would do these things be classed in the same light as Jesus?
He can't.

Jesus is the Son of God, crucified to lack of life, died and became resurrected on the third day. he's the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the international. Mohamed became a self proclaimed prophet who stated the religions round him and got here up jointly with his own concepts about God and faith.

The koran is not of G-d. It is about a god; a false god formerly known as the moon god; a fact Muslims vehemently deny. Allah & the Scriptural G-d are not one & the same Diety.

thats because bible was written almost a 100 years after jesus,
secondly ....it has been changed so many times....
that the real teaching of Jesus is not ..what the book ...so called..bible states.....
in real Jesus never refered to GOD as....father... ..to justify it..just imagin...GOD would stand around and let jews kill him....
