my man says no woman would be strong enough to even get his hands behind his back let alone handcuff him

Proper training can indeed help physically. The officer also has to use common sense and not get herself into a situation that will cause more problems than she already has if in a confrontation.

It would also be foolish for a small woman to say, "Yeah, put me out there by myself, I can handle anything." Even worse for her commander/chief/whoever to say, "Okay."

Weapons are also not 100% reliable as they can be turned against you. A properly trained K-9, however, is a big help.

I once had an elderly lady for a friend. She had a wonderful little dog. A mix of some sort. She had the dog trained well and it behaved very well. Learn here https://tr.im/epOKw

She kept an uncovered candy dish on her coffee table with candy in it. The dog was forbidden to eat the candy. When she was in the room observing the dog he did not even appear to notice the candy. One day while she was in her dinning room she happened to look in a mirror and could see her dog in the living room. He did not know he was being watched. For several minutes he was sitting in front of the candy bowl staring at the candy. Finally he reached in and took one. He placed it on the table and stared at it, he woofed at it. He stared some more, licked his chops and PUT IT BACK in the bowl and walked away. Did he want the candy, oh yeah. Did he eat it? Nope. They can be trained that well but most, I'll admit, are not trained that well. When I was a young boy, maybe 5 years old. We had a german shepherd. He was very well trained also. My mom could leave food unattended on the table, no problem. She would open the oven door and set a pan roast beef or roast chicken on the door to cool. No problem. He would not touch it, watched or not. But butter? Whole other story. You leave a stick of butter anywhere he could reach and it was gone. He was a large shepherd so there were not many places he could not reach. Really, I think the number of dogs trained to the point they will leave food alone when not being supervised is very small indeed.
.
Now if we are talking obedience training, not food grubbing, that is a different story. Way back when I was first learning obedience training one of the final exercises was to put our dogs in a down/stay and not only leave the room but leave the building for 15 minutes. The only person that stayed was our trainer, not the owners. Most of the dogs in my class did not break their stay, which would be an automatic fail. I'm happy to report my dog was one of the ones that passed.

I could tell you that quite precisely, but I won't because a big part of the strategy is surprise.

That having been said, I remember reading some stories about female bounty hunters in a magazine once upon a time, and one of the women in question admitted that only once had she required help: to subdue a woman who was not even particularly large, but was high on PCP.

But I think a lot of the advantage is the mindset. I don't think it's an accident that more than one country prefers women commandoes, because they are quicker on the draw and shoot more accurately.

And this is probably due to the fact that, besides having good eye-hand coordination and reflexes, they just calmly go about their business without getting emotional about it. In other words, it's not 'Kill! Kill! Kill!' but 'Focus. Focus. Focus.'

And on top of all that, there is the obvious advantage that every woman has in fighting with a man: he can't kick her in the balls...

Some dont. Like that woman prison guard in Alabama who was killed when the prisoner got loose and killed the judge...

Or the woman in Ohio, who was hit so hard by a stopped violator, that he literally broke her face!

Petite women should never be a cop, unless they are going to be a dispatcher... A line cop needs to have brute force and strenght to subdue a person...

Then there was a case of a woman trying arrest a man who was drunk... he beat her half to death until she got the handcuffs off, finally, then people showed up and subdued the guy.

I wish you well..

She has been through extensive training with men and women much bigger than she, and has been taught how to subdue a person bigger than herself. Now days, she probably has a taser too. Quite an effective neutralizer! You don't have to be big, or strong to provide a nice healthy dose of electrical current :)

They teach a cop defensive tactics that's how I'm able to get a man down. Its through pressure points also their is ways to get someone down by using enough force by going against the bodies way of movement. I'm a very short girl I have worked in the prison system and law enforcements training is very good.

A smart cop no matter what size or gender would never be alone with a dangerous offender.

Furthermore, if you're small statured you have to work harder with training and technique. I workout four times a week and practice use of force at least once a month - and I'm not small either.

Well, my first thought was: Another great example of how Womens Rights and/or Affirmative Action puts people in life threatening situations.
The second thought was: She wouldn't be doing it for very long.
Third thought: Tasers don't always work, and neither does mace! See thought #3.
Fourth thought: maybe with a dog and/or a .45.
It's simply logistics. I've had several girl friends who were black belts in various martial arts and even they admitted it would be much more than very difficult for them to even try doing that.
Granted women can be very vicious, however, . . . . my moneys' on the guy.
