They are being fair... the Lebanese could end this in the matter of a few hours with a phone call and the return of the soldiers they captured. The fact they choose not to tells you what they think of their own civilians.

I would say that alerting people to leave an area before it is destroyed is very fair. You have to figure that anyone who stays after that is a complete idiot, a Hezbollah fighter or being forced to stay by Hezbollah. In any event, Israel has done just about everything they can to let civilians get out.

If Israel's objective was to kill as many civilians as possible, there would not be approximately 1 million refugees. They would all be dead or dying.

It is not Israel's job to look out for the Lebanese people. The Lebanese government brought this all down upon themselves when they allowed terrorists to launch attacks on Israel from their territory.

This made them a party to the conflict.

Darling, did you know that the Israeli army puts up flyers saying they're about to attack a certain area? WARNING the civiliians! I'll bet you didn't! You don't hear things like THAT on the news. What kind of army does something like that during a war??
The Israeli army can be tough when they're attacked; but they'll always stay the ones with the best hearts.

war will always create collateral damage. if Lebanon wanted Israel to stop, they would force Hezbollah to give back the prisoners and help disarm Hezbollah. or they could try beating Israel at a war.

I can pretty much be sure that the rockets that are being fired into Israel from Lebanon do not avoid civilians. The terrorist as usual are cowards. Can't fight like real men, they surround themselves with women like they girls they are.

They are being very fair. Those leaflets dropped earlier could easily have been bombs. Israel is certainly exercising restraint.
