Simple: noah's ark hasn't been found.
What HAS been found is a bunch of rocks that look almost, kind of, but not really like wood that's almost, but not really, in the shape of a boat. Religious fanatics embelish it in their own mind to believe that it's the ark.

Actually, it WILL probably be hard to find clear pics of the Arc, you know what I mean? And then what would be the heated debate--OK who's the wise guys going around placing a replica of Noahs Ark at the given spot way up high on Mt Ararat? Don't we have enough to banter about esp. after the mastermind who decided to duplicate The Shroud of Turin so precisely that experts had to be flown in to bang heads again, although most conceeded to being at least spellbound at the startling likeness esp the death of the Man Christ Jesus) Maybe, during the last days of tribulation when the sun goes black and when all left see Jesus coming in the sky...uh no, there'll still be disbelief(the Bible Says).

What was found is the site where it can be on the Ararat mount in Turkey. There are pictures of the site and it seems to show the ark but it has not been explored yet.

Noah's Ark gets 'found' every 5 years or so. It's pretty much like Pat Robertson leg pressing 2000 lbs (= News for Suckers).

u no,i beleive in god and all but thats not y i beleive it happened since their is geologic evidence and all proving a flood in that area,it only flooded their world though not the entire world.and they couldnt have found it the wood probably has decayed enough that they cant find the whole thing or even large peices sp even tho they can use radio carbon dating, they wouldnt have any real proof that the wood was actually the ark.

Is that the only thing about the Noah's Ark legend that is fuzzy and not very clear?

it doesn't exist -- it never existed; it's called a myth. the legend of noah's ark is found in "the epic of gilgamesh", a babylonian myth first written around 2500 BC. the old testament was first written down around 900 BC. did you also know that the old testament has 2 different accounts of noah, combined into one?

wait a few years. they'll find it again. They've been finding Noah's ark ever since i can remember, every three years ago. you'd think they'd tie a balloon on it or something so it doesn't get lost again.

because too many people were trying to find it, and since its on a high mountain many people were getting severly injured, so the Turkish gov't prohibited people from going on mt. ararat. Therefore, the only proof we have is from a sattelite picture.
