I suggest leaving it stock. All you will do by replacing the exhaust system on THAT car will be to waste money and annoy people. If you were serious enough, re-work the cylinder head, re-gear the transaxle, modify the fuel / air intake system, re-work the complete suspension system, "tub" the vehicles interior and then replace the exhaust system. Otherwise, go ahead and jump into the stereotypical classification of "idiot" and make it your car sound "pretty". Here's a cheap way out for ya, you can modify it the Tijuana way a drill 1/4" holes in your exhaust system every 8" - 10" or so. Oh, and while your at it, you may as well install a $5000.00 sound system with 10 32" bass woofers to add to your ignorance and stupidity...

techtonics or GHL one of those two, they both sound great. Dont get a 3" turbo back unless you are planning on getting a bigger turbo in the future. 2.5" should be just fine, and you wont lose any torque with this set up. Join a forum vwworld.forumup.org

I'd suggest a flowmaster muffler... unless you don't want a muffler. u can get a straight pipe going back, it'll be loud as hell and perform great. any more questions as to what site to go to or how to go about getting a custom exhaust, email me ukumay_rain@yahoo.com
