If you want this question answered seriously, here is goes: I'm first assuming you are talking a brand new truck, not an old Willys or 1st gen. Bronco. I will have to go with the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (Rubicon Unlimited, also). The new Dodge Power Wagon is awesome, too. Toyota Tacomas are always great, but I prefer the previous generation Tacos.
But, overall, as far as axles, stock tires, ground clearance, gearing, lockers, transfer case lowrange, the ability to take off the doors, low end torque, etc.etc. I have to go with the Rubicon (assuming we are talking PURELY off road)

Under 50 G: Mercedes Unimog, Pintzgauer, NOT a jeep, and no, not a hummer... Possibly an older FJ40... But i'd stick with a unimog or Pintz.
If you have no idea what tha last two are you need to do some looking. You can get them state-side and they are a tougher vehicle by far. Especially the 6x6

no person that owns yuppie autos like those has ever taken them off highway. i've got been 4x4'ing for years and function not at all seen a BMW X5, nor any kind of selection Rover, Hummer, the Mercedes 4x4, or any of those frilly varieties off highway. maximum if no longer all are owned via soccer mothers and could not at all ever see a dirt driveway, no longer to point an off highway section. Our 4x4 club as quickly as say a Hummer on a dirt highway that a Cadillac would have pushed on! besides none of them are genuine 4x4's via fact none of them stress all 4 wheels on the comparable time...... all ineffective yuppie automobiles! no longer considered one of them ought to start to circulate into aspects that our 4x4 team is going into.

Nissan Patrol. You can't get them in the US. A M-B G Wagon is really the best, but it's not under $50K
