Yes. I once got a really bad case of food poisoning from a local convenience store chain here in western Pa. Apparently the entire chain of stores received a shipment of tainted tomatoes. They did not know the tomatoes were bad until people started to get sick by the hundreds. As it turns out, the supplier of the produce to the store chain processed, and sliced the tomatoes without properly cleaning them, thus spreading Salmonella all around the area. The stores were very good in handling the entire situation. They covered all of the medical bills of those who got sick from their stores. Not only did they do that, but they also made a monetary settlement with every person that was affected by the tainted food. Even though technically the stores were not the reason for the food poisoning, they did step up, and take full responsibility for the incident. I still shop, and get food from their establishments because they proved to me that they were a responsible company. They did not have to accept the blame for the incident, but they did. It showed that they really do care about their customers.

Sounds like you need to start eating in more. You have bad luck. The first time I ate at MacDonald's I was in high school. I had a fish sandwich and a diet coke. I have never been so sick in my life, I was throwing up every 10 minutes, and had well, other expulsions I rather not talk about it. It was awful. I haven't been back since.

I got food poisoning from chicken at a chain restaurant in Boston. I puked and crapped for 24 hours (sometimes at the same time). I couldn't get out of bed for 4 days total.

I used to, along time ago.not now.I watch were I eat, by observing the staff are they clean and neat or sweating over your plate???? then examine the food by smell, taste and appearance.Is it discolored????I get one bad feeling about any of those.I will never go back to that establishment again.

Sometimes you can get it after eating your home cooked meals!!!

If meats are not cooked thouroughly.If counters are not washed real good or If you eat something in the fridge that is not covered or out of date.

I've never been food poisened, but my brother was from eating shrimp at an asian buffet. I never eat seafood that I didn't cook myself.
