When you're speaking a different language you have to move your tongue, mouth and well your whole face differently in order to make the sounds used in that language, you can do that easily when you're young, but as you get older is harder to get your muscles to move a different way, think of it as learning to do the movements a professional ballet dancer does, when you're 20 and have never done it. you'd look funny right?
Also because you live and think differently depending on the country you live, and that affects the way you express yourself, 2 persons from different countries wont use the same phrase when trying to express the same thing, even if they speak the same language, like Spanish and Mexicans. But it would be boring, if everyone had the same accent and you wouldn't be able to like some more than others, or to get a guy/girl only because they like your accent.. I always fall for Mexicans, I love the accent, (in spanish).. or maybe it's because they're so nice lol

Funnily enough, English itself sounds foreign to native english speakers because of the different accents, that people have. The English find it difficult to understand the Scots and the Welsh, though they all speak the same language and are part of the UK . And of course, the Americans don't just speak English funny, they write it funny too!!

Dumb American,
Do you mean accent, or language? I speak English with an Irish accent, you speak English with an American accent. Though even places in America have different accents! If you live in California, go to New York. Both on opposite parts of the country! They probably sound like foreigners to you, right Dumb American? In every country you have people speaking with a different accent in different parts of the country! With how big America is you probably have a lot of accents! Some might even sound funny to you, but they are still Americans, like yourself!

In their own tongue (language) they do not speak or sound funny. however when someone from another country learns a foreign language like English, it is usually from language teachers who use Americanisms and American pronunciations. that is why some of the English words spoken from people of other nations and cultures may sound strange. It's because the they were not taught correct English.

Because they are foreign.
Why do people from the olden days speak funny?
Because "the past is a foreign country....they do things differently there".
Name that film in 5?

No, they do not speak funny....
You are so ignorant and dumb that you do not recognize even some common foreign accents.....
You need to come out of your hole once in a while and see the world, maybe that would help your brain to connect...Maybe not! it depends on your age, if you are beyond 7 years old..............YOU ARE DOOMED TO BE A DUMB *** FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE......
sorry, please do not bring children to this world. There is plenty of you around!

when you were a little baby, you spoke an "international language". At the time when you learned to speak, you excluded all the sounds that sounded strange for your ears, because your family spoke in one language (or two), and they used that language's set of sounds. You got so used to this set of sounds, that you forgot the others, and now they sound funny for U.
