Most MinPins are very territorial and by nature they are an aggressive breed. Have you tried dog training classes? Most local pet stores such as Petsmart have these courses. Also, Petsmart offers a money-back guarantee on their courses.

I have a male and female min pin. Yes, they are both rotten but they have totally different personalities. He will growl and snap at you when hes asleep and you try to pick him up. He is very jealous of her and will push her out of the way to get to my lap. He is very sneaky~and smart~ it seems like hes always finding something to get into. He has to be muzzled when he goes to the vet. She on the other had is one of the most hyper dogs Ive ever seen. you cant just pet her bc she wont sit still long enough. she has a loud he pitched bark and she barks at everything (and nothing). He doesn't bark unless there's an actual reason to. She is very sweet and would never bite anything. All that aside, they are wonderful and always happy to see me. oh, yeah, they love sleeping under the covers and the male thinks he has to sleep practically on top of me.

don't change a thing your dog is ok, there's nothing wrong with him,hes protecting the pack, ask a vet, they''ll tell you the same thing and they are very protective, when friends come around he isn't used to put him in another room, hes ok, it will be better for him they are very nervous dogs anyway.
