Sometimes a girl seems so perfect that I am given pause in the midst of this chaotic journey known as life. I have been in situations when I was younger and the girl was perfect for me and yet we both moved on to our own goals and ignored the feeling. It was like everything was too perfect, like, what is the point of doing all these things for my future when everything I want is right here? So I ignored what was right in front of me and said I would come back to love when I was more deserving and further down my life path.
What I did wrong was not realize that it was the girl who caused the feeling and that you cannot just pull love out of a hat. I look back at the two or three encounters that could have been love that I passed by, that we both passed, on the way to our "future". If either of us had made the effort and said what remained unspoken then I think the other would have had a hard time ignoring it... In this life love loses to career of all things.
