I have an IQ of 185. That says I am smarter than around 99.999% of the rest of the people in the world. So that would make me more like a really really really smart person.

But I think the most important characteristic for success is not intelligence: It is persistence, and the ability to learn from your mistakes! When smart people succeed, I am not impressed. When an average person can fail, try again and still fail, and keep on trying until they do finally succeed, I respect that.

I am only as smart as the knowledge I have learned and used in my life and only as smart as the lesson I will learn. Being smart is the wisdom to use those lessons; not the lessons themselves.

No, compared to the world's smartest people, I'm pretty darn stupid. I have a pretty good advantage over a rock though, I guess it depends on who you are comparing me to.
