Easiest way to get some you time. Organize some sort of activity like a board game or a movie or something like that, that will occupy them all and allow you to get some free time without being rude. I was recently staying at a friends house and had the same problem, I put in a movie and within 15 minutes everybody forgot me long enough for me to get a break on the porch. If that doesnt work I'd have to agree with most of the other answers-lock yourself in the bathroom for awhile.

I was there this past week. We had 7 people over, including a 3 month old baby. The baby was actually the most quiet of all the others. Basically, I either went out to take a walk and relax, or I took the guests out and showed them around our town. It was actually not bad.

Tell them you've eaten someting that didn't agree with you...retreat to the bathroom and stay there a while. You'll have a little time alone and nobody can say you're rude.
Or have someone from work call and tell them you have to do an extra shift, something like that... you can go out and have a walk in the park or go to a pub.

Go out! Let them think you're rude, so what? Your peace of mind in important. Say you need to go to the store or something. Go to the park, a library, to visit a friend, etc. I hope these 10 people are only temporary visitors. That sounds like a miserable environment.

Take a walk... Walking is great for clearing the mind, venting frustration and just thinking in general and when you get back just say "Man am I exhausted from all that walking!" and excuse yourself to the bedroom for a nap or don't come back until bedtime. It's not rude, it's your life. Company can suck out loud!

i used to have the same problem. So i would stay outside nearly all day. I would only go in to the house for school and sleeping. I spent nearly all my time up in a tree, drawing, writing, or climbing all over. I took up running, too.

Everyone needs personal space. Be assertive. Take a 10 min. walk at the very least. You don't live to please other people, you should only live to please your Heavenly Father. First and foremost you need a relationship with Jesus Christ. For He said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." - (Matthew 11:28-30 KJV)

How can you be "rude" if you are opening your home to others? If they demand you be in their presense 24/7 then 'tis they who are being rude. Take a walk, go to a movie or go to your local pub and enjoy a Boddingtons Ale for me. I'll be having one for you. OK?
