No YOU won't loose weight, because you're not going to do it. You have known the answer to this question your whole life, and you haven't done it yet...why is now any different?

Bike itself just takes off some weight. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic). You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Plus click on "Pure Water" to make sure the water you drink doesn't hurt you. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

Losing weight is a simple formula: If you consume less calories than you burn with exercise and your daily activities, you WILL lose weight! Your local library has many books, tapes, videos on nutrition and e xercise. Check it out! Exercise bikes are good, but it depends on how hard you work (intensity), and how long you work. Likewise, if you eat 7,000 calories a day, and only burn 5,000, you WILL gain weight. Turn it around, and you will lose weight. Find a good book; talk to your Doctor, a personal trainer, whatever; maybe your local health department, for a plan. Then, go for it.

Michelle!! now your a health guru?! just a minute ago you were a nutritionist, and before that a nurse, well im certainly confused. to answer your question- assuming your diet is not healthy i.e. too many calories, not enough veggies, etc. and also assuming that you dont excersise much right now, then yes a gradual change in diet and a excersise regimen approved by a health professional is just what the doctor ordered. please stay away from fad and crash diets because in the long run they simply will not work and can harm your body. gradual lifestyle changes thru education are the way to go.

Just take care of yourself and you will lose weight. The use of the excercise bike will help but won't do it entirely. Try stretching , do some jumping jacks, and run in place in the morning for about fifteen minutes. That will help too
The diet should not not make yo unhappy, Choose one that will satisfy you.

Yes, but...

It would help if you did some resistance training. If you build muscle that muscle needs energy (calories) all day! Building a little muscle is always a good idea. 2 or 3 days a week just for 15 minutes would help a lot...
